Hello! I’m Shayna and I am so excited to be apart of the North Valley Gymnastics family! ! started as an athlete at the gym and was even a coach here while I was in college! I went to college at ASU to become a teacher. I studied Early Childhood Development and Special Education. My love for kids took me from coaching to teaching and brought me to Special Education. I was a Special Education teacher for 4 years in the Deer Valley School District. I loved every second of it and every student I had the privilege of teaching. I stepped back from teaching when my daughter was born in 2024 and I am glad my journey has brought me back to NVG as the Adaptive Program Supervisor. My goal for this program is to help kids with all abilities see the able in themselves. I hope to help kids grow strength and confidence while growing their love for gymnastics!
