Hello! I’m Shayna and I am so excited to be apart of the North Valley Gymnastics family! ! started as an athlete at the gym and was even a coach here while I was in college! I went to college at ASU to become a teacher. I studied Early Childhood Development and Special Education. My love for kids took me from coaching to teaching and brought me to Special Education. I was a Special Education teacher for 4 years in the Deer Valley School District. I loved every second of it and every student I had the privilege of teaching. I stepped back from teaching when my daughter was born in 2024 and I am glad my journey has brought me back to NVG as the Adaptive & Homeschool Director. My goal for this program is to help kids with all abilities see the able in themselves. I hope to help kids grow strength and confidence while growing their love for gymnastics!
