TRICKING

Beginning Tricking-

Wanna learn to use solely your body to navigate from point A to point B in the least time possible. This class involves climbing, sprinting, as well as fundamentals used to teach forwards, backwards and side flipping. Tricking is the informal name of a relatively new extreme sport movement; combining martial arts, gymnastics, and other activities to create an “aesthetic blend of flips, kicks, and twists”. We use our state of the art equipment and Olympic trampolines to teach your kid to FLIP!

Advanced Tricking-

Do you have a kid who loves to flip? This advanced class will focus on Parkour, Free Running and Trampoline Tricking for those kids who already know how to flip.

TRAMPOLINE & TUMBLING (T&T) CRL (COMPETITIVE REC LEAGUE)

North Valley Gymnastics has three tracks for T&T gymnasts: Recreational (Classes only, no competitions or performances), Junior Olympic (highly competitive, with a focus on success at local and national competitions) and Competitive Rec League or CRL (Classes that will focus on routines and compete in a fun stress free environment 2-4 times a year). Junior Olympic has been the traditional route for competitive gymnastics (Levels 510 & Elite). JO gymnastics is extremely regimented and time consuming; it offers little flexibility in terms of skills performed and for the athlete that has other interests or financial constraints.

The new track of CRL is wonderful because it gives many gymnasts the chance to compete that may not have had the opportunity in the past. CRL is much less regimented than JO in terms of physical attributes, commitment level and financial obligations.

CRL is now going to be made up of 3 training levels Cyclones, Hurricanes, and Monsoons. These practice groups have been adjusted to match and follow the new skills and guidelines of trampoline and tumbling for USAG. NVG is proud to offer the first CRL program in the state of Arizona. Our CRL athletes will have the opportunity to compete in 3-4 fun and stress- free competitions throughout the year.

The CRL program at NVG will follow the USA Gymnastics Guidelines for all levels and may offer the opportunity for kids to transfer in the NVG JO program if they wish. This program will now act solely as the pre-team/developmental program and will be invitation only. All athletes will be required to come two days a week out of three days that are offered.

TRAMPOLINE & TUMBLING (T&T) TEAM
